Definition

A spectrophotometer is a device used to measure the intensity of radiation absorbed at different wavelengths
by looking at the spectral reflectance, transmittance or emission.
A spectrophotometer is an instrument for measuring or comparing the intensity of the colors of a spectrum.
A photometer which measures the intensity of radiation as a function of the frequency (or wavelength) of the radiation.
